As another Redditor summarized, your Elder Scrolls Online account (accessed through elderscrollsonline.com) does allow you to play on all supported platforms you have purchased a copy for; however, ESO doesn't allow cross-play. I think a full cross save would go well beyond that. . The issue is not addons, that can be dealt with if needed. It is both Account and Character names that have duplicates on all platforms now, mostly due to the initial account transfer at launch of the consoles. Chivalry 2 launched with cross-play, and it’s a very different category of game. Fortnite has cross-play too, it’s not that cross-play is impossible. It’s that ESO in particular has specific obstacles to cross-play due to the way the servers were set up. Honestly comes down to whether Sony plays ball. Microsoft have been backing cross-platform for years, but Sony shoot them down most of the time. Console to PC seems too unlikely. M&K vs controller doesn’t need much mentioning, but just the QoL addons that PC gets that can drastically benefit them over their console counterparts, unless they Cross platform with two different UIs and voice chat and no voice chat and two seperate text chat clients would be a nightmare. The only ideal possibility would be for Xbox to change this to a Play Anywehre title but that still keeps it platform seperate and only syncs a save which they said they wouldn’t do at console launch. wbwS. 55 302 71 254 152 87 35 284 389
